Nihal is a writer at Gorilla. He likes crafting work that is clear and thoughtful, with just enough verve to feel like a pleasure to read. Before joining Gorilla 76, he taught Russian literature to college students, was a writer and editor at wikiHow and worked out of an independent writing outfit that contracted with socially engaged startups.
In his free time, you can often catch him sitting in the front row of a movie theater or spending time with a cat. He grew up in metro Detroit. Nihal holds a B.A. in comparative literature from Columbia University and an M.A. in Russian literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
